10 New Dallas Area Restaurants to Check Out for Fall 2019

The weather in the Dallas area may be cooling off, but the food scene seems to be getting hotter– with Autumn bringing in a bumper crop of new restaurants to try.

The biggest opening to watch for is The Mayor’s House, the latest project by Chef Graham Dodds. Speaking of exciting arrivals, Arlington’s Urban Union district is beefing up its dining selection with an upcoming brick-and-mortar location for the highly popular food truck, Hurtado Barbecue.

The Bishop Arts District has also added some new exciting eateries, two of which include Salaryman, an ultra-hip pint-sized izakaya devoted to yakitori and yakiniku–and Paradiso, a stunning Mediterranean-chic restaurant with an equally inviting al fresco terrace.

And finally, what’s old is what’s new again with the resurrection of two beloved restaurants, Tex-Mex spot Primo’s MX Kitchen & Lounge (formally known as Primo’s), and Nosh Bistro, which features the globally inspired creations from Chef Avner Samuel.

Of course, this is just a sampling of what’s on the plate this season. Read on for our 10 best picks of recently opened and soon-to-be opening places that you will want to eat at come this fall.
